Our client, an established and growing machine manufacturer in the plastics and rubber industry, is searching for an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in controls for their location in the Cincinnati area. Their recent business growth requires the need for a candidate that can hit the ground running. They must have significant experience with Allen Bradley controls and Rockwell software. The ability to start a project from the ground up and follow through to completion is a must. Experience with Hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus. Knowledge of Siemens controls is also favored. Must be willing to travel, including some international.
This position is responsible for the development and design of the control scheme for new machines utilizing Programmable Logic Controller development software. This includes the creation of screens and interfaces for the operator to communicate with accessory devises such as robots, conveyor systems, and mold clamps. They will also need to debug and troubleshoot the software and other related machinery during the initial start:up of the equipment. They will accompany the equipment to the customer locations to facilitate the start:up and provide support as needed. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills as they will be interacting with customers and co:workers at multiple levels of authority.
Salary range is between 90 and 120K based upon relevant experience. Benefits include Medical/Dental, Life/Disability Insurance, paid vacation, 401K matching, and tuition reimbursement.
