Mechanical Engineer : LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY
ME will be responsible for the services relating to the successful design, specification, installation, start:up and commissioning of source capture dust control systems and equipment, traveling to customer locations, as required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
:Provide engineering and project management leadership throughout the entire project cycle
:Plan, organize and direct project teams
:Lead field audits and generate field sketches
:Air
handling/filtration equipment selection, sizing, specification and bid evaluation
:Generate study reports, scope definition and other technical documentation as related to industrial air systems
:Perform velocity pressure balance calculations
:Ability to read and generate process and instrumentation diagrams
:Perform field testing, troubleshooting and analysis of industrial ventilation systems at client facilities
:Function as single point contact with client and construction contractors
:Estimating of engineering and design effort hours and quote package development
:Track and manage project cost and schedule
:Manage scope change
Basic Qualifications
:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
:1:5 years experience in an
engineering/technical capacity
:Demonstrated technical writing capabilities
:AutoCAD proficiency
:Microsoft Office proficiency
:Able and willing to work in manufacturing environment, including extended periods of time in noisy, dusty, non:air:conditioned areas
Preferred Qualifications
:Work experience in the engineering and design of industrial dust control systems
:Solidworks capability
:Strong project management skills, proven ability to direct and track progress of projects, organizational and communication skills
:Ability to work effectively in a cross:functional team environment
