From the published xxxx reference book "Jukebox, The Golden Age" is this description: "Complete with color wheels in its sides, new die castings, formed plastics, and the bubble tubes it helped make famous running from its base to its arch, the Model xxxx was the single most popular jukebox of the light-up era. Wurlitzer shipped more than 56,000 xxxx's in xxxx and xxxx, accompanied by the largest promotional campaign in jukebox history, including swizzle sticks, napkins, tabletops, coasters, decals, billboards, and prominent advertisements in national magazines, all proclaiming 'Wurlitzer is Juke Box'."
My wife and I purchased this wonderful machine in November, xxxx, at a Coin-Op Machine Show in Houston, TX, directly from the restorer, Bob Reno of Oklahoma City. Bob's information card is still in place in the machine. We have continually enjoyed it over the years mostly on special occasions with never a problem!
Everything works!! Including the 5-10-25 cent coin play mechanism, all lights, and the vacuum-tube amplifier. The only modification Bob made was to update the needle cartridge to a modern standard. It plays 78rpm records, holding 24 in the tray mechanism.
