Drummer Needed for an established/working "Roadhouse Rock" band. Gig dates are on the calendar and more probably coming in as you read this! Thats no exaggeration! We'll be taking auditions over the next 2 weeks.
What we're looking for:
1. Must be a quick study. We have dates on the calendar RIGHT NOW and we play full nights, so you will definitely have plenty of homework with 2 rehearsals a week for the first 2-3 weeks.
2. Must be fluent in the styles of Rock/Blues/R&B. We mostly perform a wide variety of old and new Blues in the "Roadhouse Rock" flavor. This style of music demands a good understanding of "Dynamics". I can expound on this, but if you really don't know what I'm talking about here, you're most likely not what we're looking for. We also do a good amount of Blues-based Classic Rock, Classic R&B and Soul. Your overall influences may vary, but certainly having Bohnam towards the top of that list would be a plus!
3. Must have a Semi-Pro to Pro caliber level of musicianship. If you consider yourself Semi-Pro or Pro caliber, then this means you've been playing fairly consistently for the last 15-20 years and should have a decent resume of proven live performance experience. Having Pro Rig is a given. Your kit/equipment and your care for it thereof, is a direct reflection of how seriously you take your playing and your craft. We maintain this same attitude and would expect no less from you.
