Role Summary/Purpose: Serve as the Senior IT Risk Manager : Export Control Compliance for the Aviation IT Risk and Compliance organization. The Senior IT Risk Manager : Export Control Compliance will be responsible for leading the execution of the IT Export Controls Framework across the Aviation landscape. The experienced individual will be part of a dynamic team that will partner globally with Aviation IT and functional owners, control owners, and system owners.
Essential Responsibilities:
:Design the strategy of the Aviation IT (AIT) GE global export compliance requirements in support of Aviation:wide and division:specific internal control program requirements
:Lead projects to implement IT export compliance programmatic activities, including investigations, screening, training, tools, risk assessments and audits
:Provide advice, guidance, and training on ITC topics as they relate to IT Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management
:Assist in the development of uniform compliance processes for Aviation IT Export controls across diverse business processes
:Serve as a change agent by seeking, sharing and implementing best practices from global teams in order to simplify global compliance processes
:Counsel businesses on EC IT compliance issues
:In conjunction with the AIT Compliance Representatives, lead the development of internal controls, compliance plans and strategies to ensure business operations remain compliant with ITC rules within the framework of a AIT EC strategy while meeting operational objectives
:Execute in cross:functional teams addressing major ITC areas of priority, including setting strategies, team goals and objectives, priorities, training and project planning
:Execute the auditing and the collection and reporting of key metrics to pulse the health of the AIT EC program and ensure integration into the global compliance strategy
:Provide advice, guidance, and training on various AIT EC topics
:Ensure ownership and timely completion of related corrective actions
