Job Description
Purpose:
The primary function of the Business Development Analyst (BDA) position is to provide inside sales support, coordinate inter-departmental communications and external communications with prospects, clients and sales agents to deliver marketing campaigns, proposals and support in a responsive and resourceful manner. This is accomplished through daily interactions with Contingent’s Sales, Marketing, Operations and Engineering teams, in tandem with prospective and active Clients and sales agents. The BDA works closely with the Director of Business Development to achieve revenue objectives by providing superlative sales support.
Starting salary: $36 - 42k/year plus quarterly commission potential
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
The scope of business development duties includes (but is not limited to):
Account support (New account set-up, pricing proposal creation, External Sales Agent set-up),
Prospect marketing campaign development (creating targeted email campaigns, making cold calls, execution and tracking, trade show coordination and/or attendance)
Request for Proposal (RFP) response preparation
Account Management (For clients and channel partners as required).
Updating sales reports, funnels and forecasts (As requested by Business Development Manager)
Daily email/phone correspondence (With current and future clients as well as sales agents)
Project turnover (Delivering project plan to the Operations team for implementation)
Event logging (Maintaining a record of events throughout the client lifecycle)
Position Requirements:
Recommended Education/Experience
Associate’s degree or equivalency in work experience.
Minimum 2 years sales experience.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office applications)
