Help Desk Technical Desktop Analyst Position Summary: Front-line Technical Assistance Support of ADP products via various communication points including but not limited to: Client Server applications, PCs, Telecommunications, Web and E-mail. Candidate Profile: - Desktop Help Desk / Technical Support experience - Technical knowledge of Microsoft O/S , PC hardware , Unix / Linux, SQL, Networking, and related I/T technology - Experience using a Ticketing System such as Clarify, Remedy, or Footprints - Bilingual in French or Spanish a plus - Strong Communication / telephone customer support / interpersonal skills Responsibilities: • Receive inbound front-line Client / Associate contacts • Resolve Client / Associate inquiries in a timely manner • Attend training courses as required and stay current with industry developments • Apply learned knowledge to Client / Associate inquiry resolution • Analyze and assesses routine Client / Associate inquiries • Establish a course of action to guide the Client / Associate to resolution of inquiry, understanding process and escalation methods. • Thoroughly and Accurately document each Client / Associate inquiry and resolution utilizing the tools provided • Share learned knowledge internally with in associate groups and externally with our client base Experience, Skills, Academic: Qualifications: • Must have recent experience providing Desktop Technical Support , Analysis and Troubleshooting over the phone • Knowledge of Microsoft O/S and PC hardware , Apple iPad, Unix / Linux / SQL platforms, Networking skills are all assets to the position • A+ - MCDST - MCTS - MCITP certifications a plus! • Experience in the Automobile Industry is an asset to the position. • Special Skills: Bilingual / ability speak French or Spanish a plus. • Soft Skills (strong customer service skills) • Attention to detail with great organizational skills. • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. • Ability to apply learned knowledge into troubleshooting • Ability to plan own work or small projects such as prioritizing workload, adhering to assigned schedules, etc. • Ability to work as a team member • Self starter / motivator • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. • College / University degree is an asset to the position • Hours: Core shift will likely be 9:00 am to 6:00 pm or 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, although candidate must be able to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7:00 am Eastern and 7:00 pm Pacific.
