Apart from an in-form Bangladesh unit and the absence of Brendon McCullum, out due to a sore back, New Zealand will have to contend with a questionable playing surface as well in the final ODI. The Fatullah Cricket Stadium has been renovated, and the pitches have been relaid. Several batsmen have complained of very low bounce during the Dhaka Premier League. Mahmudulla can be a captain for 3rd ODI. Giving rest to mashrafe is very important because we want him to be fit in every series. we dont want him to lost for ever since he is now 30+.On the other hand we need to find pacer and we should give a try to Al amin. But instead we have Rutherford (average of 17 in list A), Devcich (average), Elliot (decent), Ronchi (terrible starter, terrible opener, good to see him down the order in this game), Latham (decent), NcCullum (bowling average of 46 which is terrible).Our team is far from full strength and we don't need a team of average batsman, and batting down to number #10, we need to have a decent or better team, maybe when everyone is fit and not injured we can have that. These recent performances also do post a clear & strong message to the ICC & other cricketing nations that the next FTP should allocate more tests and ODIs for Bangladesh. However, I don't think Bangladesh should rest any player. Workload? We are playing international cricket after around 5-6 months. But in case Tamim is unfit, I would be tempted to play Ziaur. Well its a pretty dissapointing tour from a nz fans perspective, i can only hope for a better effort, its been pretty spineless so far from our batters, we use to be a team just like bangladesh, not too many stars but everybody playing together as a team, everyone contributing and as a unit punching above their weight, we need to play like that again, as a team, it just looks like weve been out passioned and bangladesh want it more than us, we still don't really have the big stars but we are definatly not playing as a unit like we use too. Come on nz get your fight and mojo back and give your fans something to smile about
